Billy Miller, a longtime star on one of TV’s biggest soap operas, died suddenly Friday in what his agent said was a battle with “manic depression.” He was only 43 years old.
TMZ conveyed the news.
Miller played Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless (2008-2014) and Jason Morgan/Drew Cain on General Hospital (2014-2019). Most well known.
He won three Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on “The Young and the Restless.”
Born September 17, 1979 in Tulsa, he grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Initially a model, she shot a commercial for an episode of “CSI: New York” before making her television debut in 2006.
His first soap was ‘All My Children’ (2007-2008) where he played Richie Novak. Other TV shows included “Justified” (2011) and “The Ringer” (2011-2012), where he played James Dean.
He appeared in a bit role in the Bradley Cooper film American Sniper (2014), directed by Clint Eastwood, and has appeared in the Suits series (2015-2019) and The Truth Be Told (2019-2021). He also appeared repeatedly in 2010.
His last job was on an episode of “NCIS” in 2022.
