First appearance of Fox: The Democratic tech billionaire who helped restore Jeffrey Epstein’s image and visited his island poured thousands of dollars into fragile Senate races across the country.
LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman recently reported that he donated up to $6,600 each to the campaigns of Senators John Tester of Montt, Jackie Rosen of Nevada, and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania. Federal Election Commission (FEC) Records.
All three races are considered hot spots leading up to Election Day 2024.
Billionaires visiting Epstein Island drop huge six-figure donations in support of Biden reelection bid
News of the donation came after The Wall Street Journal reported in May that Hoffman had visited Epstein’s private Caribbean island called Little St. James, which is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands, at least once in 2014.
Hoffman and the now-deceased convicted pedophile were due to return to the island in November 2014 and then travel to Boston, the report said. The intentions of these planned trips are unclear, but the report also revealed that Hoffman was scheduled to stay at Epstein’s luxury Manhattan townhouse in December 2014 after arriving late in New York City.
Hoffman also sent a donation of up to $6,600 on June 14 to the campaign of California Democrat Will Rollins, who is trying to regain a seat in Congress after narrowly losing the 2022 election, Fox News Digital reported Tuesday.
Fox News Digital reported this week that the Biden Victory Fund, a fundraising committee sanctioned by the Biden campaign, received a massive donation of $699.6 million from Hoffman on April 26, with up to $6,600 going directly to the Biden campaign.
Hoffman recently made headlines when Biden attended a fundraiser hosted by the billionaire on behalf of the Biden Victory Fund at the private residence of Shannon Hunt-Scott and Kevin Scott in Los Gatos, Calif., in June.
Hoffman told Newsweek in May that he “feels poignant” that his involvement with Epstein “helped his reputation and, as a result, delayed justice for survivors.”
“The last time I interacted with Epstein was in 2015,” Hoffman said in 2019. “But by agreeing to participate in fundraising wherever Epstein is, I helped restore his reputation and perpetuate injustice.” “I am very sorry about this.”
The 2015 exchange was when I invited Epstein to a Silicon Valley dinner with tech industry leaders.
In September of the same year, Mr. Hoffmann attended a state dinner hosted by then-Vice President Biden at the White House in honor of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Fox News Digital previously reported that Hoffman’s money is not required to be reported, and that it also goes to non-traditional groups that often operate undercover. In 2018, he was forced to apologize for funding a group that falsely gave the impression that the Russian government was supporting Alabama Republican Roy Moore in the 2017 Senate special election.
FEC records show that Mr. Biden has benefited from Hoffman’s large spending on campaign funds, donating $1.5 million to a super PAC that helped Mr. Biden’s candidacy in the 2020 election, as well as the largest individual donation allowed to Mr. Biden’s campaign.

Such spending may be accompanied by certain benefits, such as access. Hoffman visited the White House five times last year, according to White House visitor records. One of the visits was apparently for a state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron. The remaining four visits were for meetings with Madeline Strasser, who was advising White House Chief of Staff Ron Crane at the time. Kimberly Lang was then chief of staff to Biden’s national security adviser. Biden’s special adviser and chief of staff to the president’s senior adviser, Jordan Finkelstein.
The campaigns for Hoffman, Tester, Rosen and Casey did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
