Once upon a time, George Clooney threw a big fundraiser for Joe Biden. Some of you may not know who was there or where it took place, but Joe Biden was feeling the same way. He was basically on the verge of being the one for the seance. But that was last month. This week, Clooney took a break from making a movie you’ll never see to write an op-ed for the New York Times. Because, you know, celebrities are great when it comes to politics. But this guy must have been busy. The title of the article? “I Love Joe Biden, But We Need a New Candidate.” This speaks to Gutfeld’s “throw away” rule. Everything before the word “but” means nothing.
In his op-ed, Clooney began by writing that he considers Biden a friend who believes in him, believes in his morals, and believes that if you hold a mirror under Joe’s nose, it will become cloudy in 4-6 weeks. But why does everyone who is trying to trash Joe start eulogizing what a great guy he is? Sorry, guys, what great person would say something like that?

Instead of blood, he gets powder. “The Joe Biden I was with at a fundraiser three weeks ago was not the big Joe Biden of 2010,” Clooney writes.
He wasn’t even Biden in 2020. He was the same guy we all witnessed in the debates.” Now, George, I’ve got news for you. Joe wasn’t much of a presence in 2010, unless “F” stood for fart. And he may have beaten Medicare and oil cancer, but he was beaten by teleprompters, microphones, and gravity. But it’s good that Clooney is finally speaking out.

But this is also Hollywood, where Harvey Weinstein trapped more women on couches than the roof collapsed at Raymour & Flanigan’s. And yet Hollywood has remained silent for decades. Clooney is only speaking out now because he told President Obama and got his approval. The Biden campaign downplayed the story, emphasizing that the president was at the fundraiser three hours longer than Clooney, two of which Joe was lost in the coat room. Of course, we’ve known what Clooney is saying for years. Biden isn’t just a vegetable, he’s a farmer’s market.

But the dam has opened. Hollywood big-name donors are distancing themselves from Biden like Kevin Spacey is distancing himself from him at a Boy Scout rally. Rob Reiner is saying, “We need young people to fight back.” That narrows it down to just about everyone on the planet. But Biden seems to have suddenly gotten too old a few weeks ago. This shows how out of touch with real life these idiots are. Do you really think they care if their supporters are clinically dead when they don’t experience crime, inflation, homelessness, or illegal immigration? But even Biden supporter Michael Douglas told the cows on “The View” that he was “very, very worried.”

The debate was a relatively easy thing to do. First, it would help the president if I told him to stand up and put on a little makeup for the debate. Then, where should I look?
He looks like a Vegas magician. Sorry, Mike. No amount of makeup can moisturize that corpse. Have you ever heard the term “polishing the turd”? With Biden, it’s polishing the fossilized turd from the Jurassic Period. And there are so many others to whom this term is applied. Ari Emanuel, Reed Hastings, Abigail Disney, Barry Diller, just about everyone who was with Joe these last four years is suddenly telling the truth about him.

Like Chuck Todd, he now says he knew about Biden’s condition for years. If only he’d known about the journalists who warned us about it. Instead, the media called us fascists for noticing that Joe’s Walking Dead would be coming out without walking. And it only took one bad debate to do that. Well, plus 4,000 gaffes, tripping over sandbags, falling off bikes, flipping down stairs, slicing cheese in front of the Duchess of Cornwall, etc. Does it matter what Hollywood says about Biden? Not really. But donors matter now.

So they abandon ship like the Titanic, Joe sinks on the iceberg, but with a low body temperature. Remember, these are actors who are paid to speak from a script. They may play heroes, but when it comes time to stand up in the real world, they wait for real, brave people to step forward first. They may be cast in leading roles in Hollywood, but in the real world, they are extras.
