President Joe Biden’s address to the nation from the Oval Office last Thursday was a continuation of his chaotic and disjointed approach to national policy.
Borders remain open during the fentanyl epidemic. Americans are struggling to make ends meet and he is imposing climate change policies that will make everything more expensive. The world is becoming increasingly dangerous and he focuses on bringing social change to the military.
President Biden demonstrated in Afghanistan that he can make disastrous errors in judgment with catastrophic consequences. Biden’s failures led to the collapse of allies, the largest abandonment of American military equipment in history, and the tragic subjugation of the Afghan people. After 19 years of fearing and resisting the Taliban, Afghan women are being stripped of their hard-won freedoms every day.
Biden declares Israel, Ukraine ‘essential’ to US security for successful war, plans to request funding
Despite Biden’s strong words last Thursday night, his administration has been slowly and reluctantly sending needed military equipment to the Ukrainians. Instead of sending the military’s most advanced long-range system, the ATACM, Biden gave Ukraine a shorter-range, less effective system. Ukrainians still do not have the ability to destroy the Russian army at long range. Additionally, since it does not have any aircraft, it may be able to obtain air superiority. Biden likes to send money and talk big, but he’s not going to send the military equipment that Ukraine needs.
After writing only a few serious paragraphs in defense of Israel, Biden returned to the traditional, failed liberal worldview of equality. By the eighth paragraph, Biden reaffirmed his commitment to the Palestinians.
“I also spoke with Palestinian Authority President Abbas and reiterated that the United States remains committed to the dignity and right of self-determination of the Palestinian people. The actions of Hamas terrorists do not warrant immediate acceptance. ”
Biden and other Western leaders reaffirm Israel’s right to defend itself and call for protection of civilians
“Like many others, I am saddened by the tragic loss of Palestinian life, including the hospital explosion in the Gaza Strip, which was carried out by Israelis. It’s not something that’s been done.
“We mourn every innocent life lost. We cannot ignore the humanity of innocent Palestinians who just want to live in peace and have opportunities.”
He talked about the suffering of Palestinians without mentioning the Israeli babies beheaded by Hamas. He talked about humanitarian aid to Gaza and made only vague, general promises about rescuing American hostages.
By Term 11, Biden had ended relations with Israel and moved on to the wars he really cared about.
“As you know, the attack on Israel reflects the nearly 20 months of war, tragedy and atrocities inflicted on the Ukrainian people since President Putin launched his full-scale invasion,” he said. Told.
Biden made small strides by acknowledging Iran’s role in Ukraine and the Middle East. But he didn’t offer any of his solutions.
Biden claims Pope Francis is on the same page as the US on the Israel-Gaza war.Pope calls for peace: report
“Iran is supporting Russia” [war in] In Ukraine, it supports Hamas and other terrorist organizations in the region. And I might add that we will continue to hold them accountable,” he said.
Of course, Mr. Biden has never held Iran accountable for anything, and there is no evidence that he is about to. Holding Iran accountable would mean reimposing tough sanctions that President Donald Trump has imposed on the world’s biggest terrorist financier or freezing the $6 billion in Iranian funds sitting in Qatar.
Instead, Biden focused on limiting Israel’s ability to wage war effectively to protect its own people.
“president [Prime Minister Benjamin] Prime Minister Netanyahu and I spoke again yesterday about the important need for Israel to act according to the laws of war. That means protecting civilians in combat as much as possible. The people of Gaza are in urgent need of food, water and medicine. ”

Instead of strengthening Israel’s right to annihilate Hamas and quickly end the violence (which is in the interests of Israelis and Palestinians), Biden’s typically liberal views, seeking sympathy over success, prolong suffering. Only.
Of course, Biden misses the reality that as long as Hamas exists, it cannot control the aid it sends to Gaza.
“If Hamas does not divert or steal this shipment, we will continue to open the door to providing lifesaving humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.”
There is no doubt that Hamas will steal the shipment. The aid we send is used to help terrorists, not innocent Palestinians.
Finally, Biden’s liberal fantasies returned to a dream unfulfilled for two generations.
“And as I said in Israel, we cannot give up on peace, however difficult it may be. We cannot give up on the two-state solution. Israelis and Palestinians deserve equal security, dignity and peace.” You have the right to live inside.”
We hope that Congress will carefully consider any policies that Mr. Biden proposes. The Republican majority should insist on national border controls as part of any policy and be clear about what it is doing for Ukraine.

We should immediately pass an effective policy toward Israel, followed by a rational reform policy toward Ukraine.
Biden should not accept a blank check for Israel or Ukraine because of his consistent failures.
