2023 will be a special year for Babylon 5 fans.First, an animated feature film was announced and now he is J. Babylon 5 It didn’t have a very smooth production history. The series alternated between live-action scenes and CGI frames. Well, the CGI wasn’t very good in this series and often looked blurry. Nevertheless, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has stepped in to remedy the situation by remastering Babylon 5 for HBO Max and other digital platforms in 2021. They scanned the original video negatives in his 4K, then downscaled them to HD, processed and cleaned the footage. We also upscaled the CGI to HD while maintaining his 4:3 aspect ratio from the original show.

With the upcoming Blu-ray release, fans can expect an even more immersive and visually stunning experience. The label “fully remastered in HD” doesn’t explain whether it’s an enhancement of the 2021 edition or a newer, more advanced rendition. Either way, it’s sure to bring a lot of nostalgia to long-time fans and an immersive sci-fi experience for newcomers. Currently, the Blu-ray version is available for pre-order from him for $100. The release is scheduled for December 5, 2023.
