Hudson Meek, a 16-year-old actor who appeared in “Baby Driver” and the rebooted version of “MacGyver,” died on December 21 after falling from a moving vehicle.
AL.com The actor was pronounced dead that night at UAB Hospital in Alabama.
His death was announced in an official announcement Instagram “Our hearts are broken as we share that Hudson Meek went home tonight to be with Jesus. His 16 years on earth were all too short, but he was He accomplished so much and had a profound impact on everyone he met.”
Additionally, “specific details regarding a celebration of Hudson’s life to be held on December 28th, and in lieu of flowers, information on how to donate to a scholarship in Hudson’s memory at Vestavia Hills High School will be announced in due course.” It is said that
“Please pray for Mr. Hudson’s family and friends as we all deal with this sudden and tragic loss,” the statement concluded.
Meek made his television debut in 2014 in the film “The Santa Con” and appeared in his first film “The List” the following year.
In the 2017 hit movie Baby Driver, he played the younger version of Ansel Elgort’s title character. He appeared in 52 episodes of the series “Badanamu Cadets” (2020) and another 52 episodes of “Badanamu Stories” (2020-2021).
Recently, he appeared in “School Duel”.
