According to TMZ, Ashanti, 43, and Nelly, 49, have secretly married. Reports.
The site obtained public records and announced that the couple married on December 27, 2023.
The city where they got married wasn’t listed, but TMZ notes that the marriage was officially performed in St. Louis County, Missouri, where Nelly grew up.
The couple are expecting their first child and had previously revealed they were engaged.

“Becoming a mother is something I’ve always looked forward to and it’s an amazing experience to share with my family, fiancé and loyal fans who have all supported my career.”
She also shared the baby news on Instagram. videoAshanti gets ready to go on stage, and when her mother, Tina Douglas, asks how long it will take, Ashanti responds, “Hmm, I think it’ll take about nine months.”

The couple had everyone talking after the expectant mother attended Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis in December. TMZ Posts A fan-submitted video showed the pair onstage with Ashanti placing her hand on her stomach and Nelly doing the same, a moment that left audience members wondering if they were hinting at a pregnancy.
A source later told Us Weekly, “Nelly and Ashanti are expecting their first baby.”
The baby will be Ashanti’s first child and the third for Nelly, who already has 29-year-old daughter Chanel and 24-year-old son Cornell with ex-wife Shanetta Valentine.
Starting a family together is a big step for the couple, who only got back together last year. The couple dated on and off from 2003 to 2013, before rekindling after a 10-year hiatus.
