Ariana Madix moved from “Vanderpump Rules” to perform her own “elevated version” at the guest spot of the drama series “Will Trent.”
“Extra” chatted with Ariana. Ariana cooks in the guest appearance role and monitors whether to restart “Vanderpump Rules.”
It was announced in November that “Vanderpump” was returning to Season 12 with an all-new cast.
Maddix said: But if that makes me feel too uneasy, I’ll release bail. ”
She explained: “To be very honest, the reality TV genre was difficult for me to watch because watching such shows gives me a lot of anxiety. That’s why I always go to ‘Love Island’. I was being drawn to it. I’m drawn to “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” It shows that there is competition and that it feels like there is more. When it’s real, it definitely makes me feel a little, like everyday, it gives me anxiety. For example, you cannot see “Housewife.” There’s too much anxiety. ”
Maddix challenged herself and moved to television, which was written for her role in “Will Trent.”
She said: Who am I myself on camera? ”
She continued, “When I started to incorporate more into the process of preparing for it, I started thinking, ‘Well, I have to think of myself as the character I’m playing.” Still, the script is a very expensive version. And then there was a particular moment that I thought of. Or “What do people think of me?” And I lean back down to it for a moment and give it. There are some moments, you know, I definitely had to give you a really good eye roll, do you know? That kind of thing felt typical of what people think when they think of me. ”
For Ariana, a fan of the show, it was a “really enjoyable” experience.
Praises the show’s cast and crew, she said, “It’s a very oiled machine and they kill it. They’re the best at what they’re doing, and it’s It felt very positive on the set, and that’s how I felt the moment I walked on the set.”
Maddix has had a special connection to her episodes ever since one of her “beloved friends” wrote it.
She commented: We actually shot the final scene first, so I think we’ll go on the first day of filming, just as nervous as I did. Looking at what the final scene was, I think it actually worked well. It worked so well, and the way they planned it worked perfectly for what happens in that scene…it was a dream. ”
Ariana had to take some action too! She said, “I definitely left with some bumps and bruises, but I felt like I was wearing them in honor of leaving the set. It was really fun.”
Maddix is a career. She was recently nominated for her favorite Broadway debut at the 2025 IHEARTRADIO MUSIC AWARDS for her role as Roxy Hart in “Chicago.”
She said, “I was nominated and I couldn’t believe that people were still voting… What shocked me most was looking at other names in that category and then I was like, I think it was to have. Even if they are listed in that category with them, these are genuine stars.”
