The season finale of Apple TV’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller Silo is set to air on Friday. Three days before that, Apple taped his entire 59:24 of the first episode, “Freedom Day.” Apple’s unusual move has been successful when it comes to reaching and engaging audiences. This tweet had about 27 million views and the video itself he had over 3 million views and a conversion rate of over 10% of his. People have nothing but good things to say about this episode and I can see the growing interest in the comments section. In fact, Twitterati was surprised by this upload.

“Silo” is based on the sci-fi novel “Wool” by Hugh Howie. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where human civilization is trapped inside his 144-story bunker. The outside world is uninhabitable, so the inhabitants are forbidden to leave the building. Questions arise about the authorities’ intentions and the reality of their claims about the outside world. Overall, this is a fascinating story that blends very well with the notions of truth and freedom.
