Apple is currently developing an affordable version of its Vision Pro AR/VR headset. This economical Vision VR headset is expected to cost between $1,500 and $2,000 and incorporates a small number of sensors and unique characteristics that make it different from other His AR/VR headsets. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Garman, Apple is ramping up production efforts to meet its release date goal of launching Vision Pro by February.

Production has been running at maximum capacity for the past few weeks to ensure Vision Pro is ready by the end of January, followed by a planned retail launch in February. Apple first announced the Vision Pro back in June, during which time the company announced it would be released in early 2024.
The sophisticated and specialized nature of this advanced AR/VR headset means that each user requires individual setup and adjustments.
To ensure a smooth customer experience, Apple arranges extensive training sessions for Apple Store employees. These sessions will not only focus on setting up and operating high-end headsets, but will also provide guidance on how to effectively market your headsets to potential customers.

According to Gurman’s newsletter, the company has begun offering Vision Pro training seminars for retail staff, with a start date scheduled for mid-January.
All staff employed at Apple Stores will participate in a two-day training program. This program will feature extensive guidance on the Vision Pro encounter in retail stores. This training includes detailed instructions on the correct procedure for placing the device on the user’s head.

Apple may have to make certain concessions to achieve more budget-friendly costs. One possible compromise is to omit Apple Vision Pro’s unique cosmetic attribute, EyeSight.
EyeSight allows the user’s eyes to appear on the headset’s curved OLED external panel when not participating in immersive content. More affordable Apple Vision headsets may not include this unique feature.
