The iPhone 15 Pro introduces a new design direction for Apple, moving from the usual stainless steel frame to a titanium frame that is not only lighter but also more durable and features a smooth brushed finish. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are rumored to feature unique materials designed to address the overheating issues that plagued the previous generation.
According to a report from PhoneArena, Apple is currently considering the possibility of incorporating graphene into its upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models. This new material replaces the existing graphite pad and is intended to improve heat dissipation from the phone’s processor.
By utilizing graphene, the heat generated by the chip is effectively removed, leading to lower device temperatures.

According to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to introduce a 5x tetraprism optical zoom camera, a feature currently only found on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Additionally, analyst Kuo revealed that the 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera on both Pro models will be upgraded to a 48MP 1/2.55-inch unit.
A recent report from MacRumors revealed Apple’s plans to integrate a tetraprism telephoto lens into both iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models by 2024.
