The Bucks won 117–108 after leading by 29 points in the third quarter.
Milwaukee’s dreadful final quarter forced the Greeks to save them from the break.
Two-time MVP in its purest form. Giannis Antetokounmpo abused the Orlando Magic, but the Bucks’ easing almost cost the reigning champion a lot. Ultimately, he won 117–108 after his 29-point lead in the third quarter.
Attento’s was overkill for a fragile team. The Greek player would have stayed on the edge of the double 20 had everything gone through a normal channel, but with the match looking more than settled, Budenholzer was already resting in the last quarter. Greece had to be fished again.
The hosts had a 29-point lead in the third quarter and closed out the period with a 96-71 victory. Antet was only on the edge of double 20 with 25 minutes of play, but Milwaukee’s devastating game in the final quarter required a final effort from Heleno. Without escaping victory from Wisconsin, they bolstered their already large numbers and contributed to the victory. Wisconsin added their third straight win, placing over 50% of their wins at the 9-8 mark.
Giannis posted stratospheric numbers of 32 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks in 30 minutes of play. The Greek has achieved his 50% of his goals on the field (his one of three from triples) and at the free-throw line he reached the free-throw line as many as 23 times and made 15 . The power of Antet.
Another who made a great game was Bobby Portis, a great starter who went from 24 points, 15 rebounds and triples to a near-perfect 6-of-7.
Milwaukee remains undefeated when the Big Three (5-0) are active, but is 4-8 when one of its three members is missing.
Orlando had little rivalry until Milwaukee relaxed and the Magic’s second unit began to rally. There were outstanding performances from RJ Hampton (19 points) and Mychal Mulder. 68 points for players on the way!
Still 4-13, the Magic played without Cole Anthony. On Monday, his two teams will meet again.
