Amazon’s Echo speaker and Alexa assistant are both incredibly useful and fairly invasive.
On the practical side, it works as a security alarm for devices you already own. decent. This is how Alexa Guard works.

fall back
Alexa learns by observing your actions and requests. Then recognize what you missed. For example, the response to “Alexa, good night” might be “Did you leave the kitchen light on? Do you want to turn it off?”
Instead of yelling “Leave me alone!” Turn off Amazon Hunch. Just say, “Alexa, disable haunches’ And you are good to go.

be quiet
Are you past your bedtime? Adjust Alexa’s volume so it doesn’t wake the whole house. Just say, “Alexa, turn on whisper mode. Then whisper to Alexa and Alexa will whisper back. If you speak in a normal voice, the speaker will speak as well.

your music is muffled
I put on some songs to clean my house, but they sound weird. Sometimes it happens. Luckily, the fix is easy. Unplug your Echo, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. The magic restart trick works for most technologies.
What if the sound cuts out?
If a reboot doesn’t resolve the issue, there may be a problem with your Wi-Fi network. Having too many devices connected to your network can cause Alexa devices to get lost in the crowd. Try turning off connected devices that are not in use.
Also, keep your Alexa device away from metal objects, Bluetooth devices, baby monitors, microwave ovens, and other sources of interference. Placing Alexa higher will improve signal strength.

No unexpected drop-ins
This is more than just annoying. That’s really dangerous. Drop in to connect to another Echo speaker or display for instant conversation. “Alexa, stop by Echo Show in the kitchen.” You can also announce all Echoes at once, such as inviting your family to dinner. The command is “Alexa, drop in on all devices”.
But remember that your Echo speaker or display is two-way. This allows someone to immediately hear or see what is happening in the room 10 seconds after her.

wait what?
I get anxious when Alexa is activated out of nowhere. Most of the time, she heard something from the TV or from a conversation with someone that sounded like Wake Her Words (Alexa, Echo, or Computer, depending on what you chose) and pissed her off.
‘, try saying.Alexa, why did you do that? You can also change Alexa’s wake word by saying “Alexa, change wake word” if you accidentally trigger Alexa too often.
I forgot which one is the 3rd Echo
Default names are not convenient. Especially if you have multiple speakers around. An easy way to distinguish your speakers is to name them after the room they occupy, such as your kitchen, computer, living room, bedroom, or office.

Note: Not all devices show this option.
speed it up
Follow-up mode allows you to give your smart speaker multiple commands at once. Follow the first command and wait for Alexa to say “OK”. Then run the following command and you should be good to go: When you’re done, say “Stop”, “Thank you”, or “Put me to sleep” to stop Alexa waiting for your next command.
You need to enable this:

“I’m sorry, I didn’t quite understand.”

select your profile and family. select your profile.
Tap add your voice.
You can set this up for everyone in your family if you want.
No repeat
Alexa often parrots back to make sure she understands what you’re saying. If you say “34 minus 13?”, you can hear the whole equation before you get the correct answer. It’s persistent, but you can stop it.
