Biden’s liberals are obsessed with race and the pain of the past, blind to the promise of America’s future. The truth of my life disproves their lies, and that’s why I’m the conservative they fear most.
They called me a prop when I did tax cuts for single mothers and working families. They called me “Uncle Tim (Tom)” when I fought to get police money back, and they called me when I shouted the dangers of Joe Biden’s socialist policies. We called it the N word. And the day after I announced my candidacy for president, Joy Behar of “The View” challenged me on national television for not understanding what it was like to be black in America. I was.
These attacks are no match for my experience. The Left could choose discontent, but I would choose greatness. They can choose resentment, but I choose responsibility. They can choose pity, but I choose patriotism.
In his Howard University commencement address this spring, President Joe Biden further fanned the flames of division by arguing that white supremacy is the greatest terrorist threat facing his country. This is deeply offensive to the families of the 70,000 Americans who lost their lives to fentanyl last year as the Biden administration surrendered control of its southern border to Mexican drug cartels.
The truth is that Biden and the Far Left are too obsessed with racial identity politics to keep the American people safe. That is why radical mayors and George Soros-funded prosecutors are allowing dangerous criminals to evade prison. And that’s why murders, carjackings and robberies are on the rise in big cities run by liberal Democrats.
