In June 2023, Amber paid a $1 million settlement to the Pirates of the Caribbean actors.
At the time, a source close to Depp told People magazine that Depp would split the payment among five charities of his choosing, “giving $200,000 to each.” The following non-profit organizations are eligible for donations: painted turtle, red feather, Tetiaroa Society, Amazonia Foundation Allianceand “Make a Film Foundation”.
