An Amazon delivery driver says he was warned at work for having lunch at Wendy’s and making a TikTok video with his watch.
In her video, which had more than 57,000 views as of Saturday, Amber (@ambergirts) says she did something she rarely does after being on the phone with her company’s driver support team for 45 minutes.
Combined with the videos she made on company time, it was this lunch length, she says. The notice she received showed that she had written about a video and “poor performance” that day she allegedly had lunch that lasted over an hour and a half, she claims.

Amber says she asked if the warning was really about her performance that day or the fact that she was making a TikTok video. According to her, her boss told her she was a good worker and tricked her into thinking it was about the video.

She ended the video by saying, “Yeah, I get it.”

“At most jobs, you start taking a break, quit the job, and start working again 60 minutes later,” wrote one commenter. “Round trip is definitely not part of the break.”
Others supported the poster and encouraged her to find a new job.
“Find a new job, there is no worse job than Amazon,” wrote one commenter. trust me! “
“It sounds like you had toxic controls on Amazon!” another user said. “Hopefully this next job will make you better!”
“I just watch this and know you won’t be treated like this and will find a job that respects you and your human needs!” offered another viewer. “It’s hard right now, do your best.”
