For the first time since 2006, Alabama football will experience a signing day without Nick Saban.
Karen DeBoer was replaced as the new coach after Saban retired on January 10th. The 2024 Alabama football recruiting class will be canceled largely due to the work of Saban and his staff, but DeBoer also had to work to maintain it. As many of these signatories and commitments as possible. Although there were some departures (Julian Sane, Jaheer Grimsley), DeBoer managed to keep the group largely intact.
As in previous years, Alabama signed the majority of its freshman class during the early signing period in December. Still, the Crimson Tide is expected to add a few more players during National Signing Day on Wednesday.
