Apple announced Tuesday that the second-generation AirPods Pro now come with a USB-C charging case. Additionally, wired EarPods with a USB-C connector were also released.

The latest AirPods Pro comes with a USB-C case and is available for pre-order for $249. The product is scheduled to be released on September 22nd.
Apple has revealed that the USB-C case can be used in conjunction with the Vision Pro to deliver low-latency, lossless audio. The H2 chip will enable the company’s upcoming headsets to offer 20-bit 48 kHz sound quality.
Last year, Apple made an announcement regarding the AirPods Pro 2, which was released at the same time as the iPhone 14. AirPods Pro 2 itself has not received any hardware upgrades, but it will come with a new charging case with USB-C. port, replaces the Lightning connector.
It’s worth noting that USB-C has become the standard for several Apple products, including the Mac, iPad, and Siri Remote. However, the iPhone still uses the Lightning connector, and Apple previously adopted the same connector for AirPods. With the introduction of his AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C, customers can now use the same cable that comes with his iPhone, iPad, or Mac for charging.
The second-generation AirPods Pro are a significant step up from the initial models produced by the company, boasting superior sound quality and active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities. Apple’s earbuds and headphones feature the most natural-sounding Transparency mode, which greatly enhances both video and voice calls.
