There are some known enemies in this world. Batman and Joker. Taylor Swift and Kanye West. And Airbnb guests and house cleaning.
Guests are often upset by cleaning fees, which tend to exceed $500.
The ultimate showdown happened when Airbnb’s house cleaners arrived and spotted guests who were checking out late.by Regina (@thebabybestie) TikTok videos that are now deletedhad over 4.4 million views by Wednesday, and she had been waiting in her car for 45 minutes.
The Daily Dot reached out to @thebabybestie through a comment on TikTok. Airbnb declined to comment for this article.
“I arrived at 10:05 am to find my guest still in the cabin. I will gladly wait a few minutes. But… check out is at 10:00 am,” TikToker wrote in the video’s text overlay. I got

“Keep in mind that we often clean multiple cabins in a short amount of time,” Regina shared.
To kill time, Regina gave viewers an update on the late guests and began roasting them in the process. “10:33, first sign of movement,” she said.
At 10:40am, guests began loading their cars. By 10:45, almost an hour after checkout, they were finally gone. “Thank you for sitting here for 45 minutes and wasting your baby’s nap time,” she said.
Roasting has just started. She went around her house commenting on how they left the place. There were some unusual things like water in the bathtub and a trash can moved next to the bed.
“I know it was a good time to have a trash can next to where they slept,” Regina observed.
She moves into the kitchen and finds two cups and two spoons in the sink. “I can’t wait to wash them,” said Regina.
Finally, he showed me the dirt on the rag that cleaned the inside of the bathtub. “Yeah,” she said before closing the viral post with: “Consider other people’s time. Thank you!”
Unfortunately for Regina, she didn’t get the reaction she was hoping for.The majority of her viewers saw her more like Regina George, not as poor house cleaner Regina mean girls.
“10am is too early. These Airbnbs should be at 11 or 12 like hotels. I understand the cleaning, but it would be more helpful,” wrote one user.
“The audacity of complaining about three spoons in the sink when you know you charged these people a $150 cleaning fee,” commented another.

After complaints from customers and hosts, Airbnb roll out In November, there will be a toggle to make cleaning fees more transparent. Users now have the option to show the total price including all charges in the search results. If you do not opt-in to this new feature, you will only see the nightly rate.
Regardless, many believe that Regina’s stance and Airbnb’s cleaning fees are the problem.

Viewers were also upset that she showed up five minutes after checkout.
Some believe she did a good job pushing the business forward over there From Airbnb.

Based on the comments, it’s clear that Regina’s video backfired. However, some users could understand why Regina was upset about her guests being late.

She also received sympathy from fellow house cleaners. I feel you,” wrote one commenter. “Just 15 minutes late can ruin your day.”
