“We’re not here to build another tool,” Shilo co-founder and CEO Justin Benson said in a statement. “We’re here to build AI teammates that all elite agents use every day. They listen, learn and support them as they win. Their teammate’s name is Shiro.”
According to the company, Shiro has a deeper understanding of the context of business calls between real estate agents and mortgage lenders. This allows AI assistants to complete follow-up tasks and provide a high-touch experience for their clients without hiring additional employees.
The company said the funding round will accelerate Shiro’s product development and expansion into the market.
Ashok Santhanam, Managing Director of AZ-VC, said, “AI is at a groundbreaking moment, but it has a real impact when it embeds its intelligence into real-life work days. “Shiro is the first AI product truly built for the unique demands of real estate. This team has a rare combination of product clarity, speed of execution and deep customer empathy.”
As of early May, Shilo was one of the few application programming interfaces (API) partners. Zillow– Owned CRM Follow up the boss.
