Adobe’s new artificial intelligence image models, Firefly Image Model 4 and Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra, can generate surreal photos according to user prompts.

London – Adobe Plans to launch the mobile version of Firefly, an artificial intelligence image generation tool, strengthening the challenge of Openai Microsoft– Backed startups are working towards technology visual applications.
The design software giant said at the Max Creativity Conference in London on Thursday that it will release Firefly on both iOS and Android on both “Soon Soon” without giving a specific date.
“Creative people think on the go,” Adobe Firefly vice president Alexandru Costin told CNBC in an interview. “One of our visions is that the Firefly Mobile application is always a creative partner with you.”
Costin says one way creatives can use future mobile apps is to ask them to sketch ideas about advertising campaigns while commuting to the office, and by the time they arrive at work they have a mood board that will help them develop their thoughts.
Adobe also announced the launch of its latest AI models, the Firefly Image Model 4 and the Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra, saying that new Firefly video models for video generation are generally available.
The company said the new system could generate surreal photos and videos and block the inclusion of intellectual property, depending on text prompts in a “commercially safe” way.
Competition with Openai
Adobe is showing the latest driving force in incorporating AI into its creative tools suite, as the company is increasingly facing competition from funded AI companies such as Openai and Runway.
Openai was released last month Animation Studio Studio A native image generation function that has become viral online, as it allows you to create anime images in the style of Ghibli and recreate people as toy dolls.
The tool saw a huge level of demand as Openai boss Sam Altman warned that it was melting its GPU (graphic processing unit). “It’s so much fun to see people love images on ChatGpt. But our GPU is melting.” Altman said March 27th.
Adobe’s Costin acknowledged the competitive landscape is intensifying, but he said the company has not eschewed partnering with competition. For example, Adobe has partnered with Openai, Google, Runway and others to add AI image generation tools to Firefly.
“The competition is great,” Costin told CNBC. “I think there are models with different individuality and abilities.”
“Third-party partnerships not only provide competition, but also opportunities to bring innovation benefits. They provide technology to understand creative needs and meet their needs,” he added.
