AARON J. THONTON’s ABFF Honor
Earlier this week, “Mufasa” star Aaron Pierre won the Rising Star Award at the 7th Annual American Black Film Festival honors.
“Extra” spoke with Aaron. Aaron recently went viral in the video for “The Jennifer Hudson Show” in the “That’s Mufasa” spirit tunnel walk video.
He said, “Every time people welcome it to me, I feel nothing but love and joy… It’s a beautiful moment, and I think it resonates with people and they enjoyed the moment. I am very grateful and full of joy.”

When it comes to being honored in ABFF’s honor, it is a moment when he cherishes and embraces his heart forever.
Aaron said, “It’s a beautiful feeling… Like I said before, to feel and appreciate that I’ve seen it, they are treasures that I’ll never miss. These are all these things, I’m in this room with a great artist and never take the obvious thing to be part of this moment. This is something I remember forever, and I’m so hearty I’ve kept it in.
