After the trailer for Jamie Foxx’s upcoming stand-up special, “Jamie Foxx: What Happened…” was released, audience member Decos Chambers asked what the comedian had to say about his medical emergency. It’s revealed.
Chambers, who went to record the special in October, said: people According to the magazine, Jamie said he was “literally on the verge of death” when he collapsed in April 2023.
“It was just fatigue. His body was just getting older and tired and his body was just staggering against him,” Chambers said.
Fox was reported to have had an emergency on the set of the movie Back in Action, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Ms Chambers explained: He thought he passed out in the elevator and woke up hours later. Well, he was actually in a coma and didn’t wake up until weeks later. ”
Chambers said one of Fox’s daughters strummed a guitar during the visit.
“Every day she plays his favorite song or something,” DeMecos said, “and he says that’s the only thing he can remember hearing in his sleep, and that’s what makes him practically… He said he saved me from a coma.”
When Jamie woke up from his coma, “we went to a rehab facility and talked about how he had to work on his athleticism from day one,” Chambers said.
Although Fox’s medical emergency was serious, he describes what happened with a comedic touch.
Mr Chambers said: It’s stand-up comedy. He’s dancing a little bit. He’s playing a song on the piano. ”
“Jamie Foxx: What Happened…” premieres on Netflix on December 10th.
