Wayne Northrop, the handsome soap star who played two different roles over 25 years on “Days of Our Lives,” died Friday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 77 years old.
THR “He passed away in the arms of his family,” his wife, soap star Lynn Herring Northrop, said in a statement, according to the report. He was a husband of 43 years, a great father to two sons, Hank and Grady, and a rancher who loved cattle and was a friend to many. ”
Born on April 12, 1947 in Sumner, Washington, he made his television debut in 1977 on an episode of “Eight Is Enough.”
After several television guest appearances, including hits such as “Barletta” (1978) and “The Waltons” (1979), she appeared in television films such as “The Beggar Man” (1979) and “Going for the Gold.” He also appeared in “The Bill Johnson”. Story” (1985).
