Taylor Swift scores a major win at the 2024 MTV VMAs!
Swift won video of the year for her video “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone.
Accepting the honor, Swift remembered directing the video and the one person who brought joy to set…her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
After every take, she recalled, “I would always hear someone cheering, ‘Woo!’ from across the studio where we were filming, and that was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything this guy touches turns into happiness and fun and magic, so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoots.”
Taylor also won Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Song of the Summer, Best Director and Best Editing.
She also beat Beyoncé’s record for the most “Moonmen”: Beyoncé had set the bar at 25, but as of tonight Taylor has 30.
Swift also broke her own record by becoming the first artist to win Video of the Year five times.
