OJ Simpson was cremated in April, and now his lawyer, Malcolm Laverne, tell According to TMZ, his ashes were made into cremation jewelry.
The rare trinket was shared among the couple’s four children: Arnell, 55, Jason, 54, Sydney, 38, and Justin, 36.
Malcolm, as executor of Simpson’s estate, had to sign the document.
The cost of cremation and having the ashes turned into jewelry was about $4,000.
Simpson died of prostate cancer earlier this year, aged 76.
Following Simpson’s death, “Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with Laverne, who opened up about OJ’s final days: “His family was close by, and he had a lot of friends come to see him. He was a father and a grandfather. He was very happy, content with life. We both knew the end was near.”
He further said, “During his last few days, he was barely conscious…If anyone would come into the room he watched, people would yell at him…He couldn’t communicate the way you and I communicate…He just rested, watched TV, his favourite shows…That was his last few days.”
