Former Destiny’s Child singer LeToya Luckett is giving marriage another try!
Last week, Luckett married entrepreneur Taleo Coles at Le Tesserae in Houston in a ceremony attended by hundreds of close friends and family.
Guests in attendance included Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, Toya Johnson and rapper Bun B.
Letoya said people According to the magazine, “We originally planned on having 70 guests, but that number changed when we decided to have the wedding in my hometown of Houston. Plus, since Taleo is the first grandson in his family to get married, we knew it would be difficult to keep the numbers down to that number. We wanted to keep the atmosphere intimate and comfortable while still expanding the numbers, and we think the layout and décor allowed us to achieve that.”
The couple opted for a “clean, chic and classic style” for their big day.
As she walked down the aisle, Luckett wore an Aronuko Bridal gown and then changed into an Ese Azenabor dress.
She said: “I wanted to incorporate some black female bridal magic, so I worked with two black female designers for both the wedding dress and the reception dress.”
Looking back on the wedding, an emotional Letoya said, “I still can’t believe how peaceful the day was. Everything went almost smoothly. This wedding was magical. You could feel the true love in that room.”
“It was so much better than I could have ever imagined,” she continued. “It’s a dream come true!”
“Marriage is something we both wanted. Having a partner who loves me and my children so deeply is paramount. This love is comforting,” LeToya said.
The nuptials came just months after Coles proposed to LeToya, who he had been dating for two years.
