ROCHESTER — A summer entertainment schedule is being set on the lawn at Ridge Marketplace shopping plaza, a community gathering space offering free events for all ages.
Bounce & Splash & Entertainment will be held Wednesdays, July 3 through Aug. 21, from noon to 3 p.m. Rochester Recreation will host a Toddler Playgroup on Fridays, July 5, Aug. 2 and Aug. 16, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
A summer highlight will be the film series, taking place on Saturdays from July 6 to August 24. Pre-movie entertainment will run from 6-8pm, with the film starting at dusk, approximately 8:30pm.
Here is the schedule for free family movies sponsored by Granite State Credit Union:
July 6: “Elemental”. Pre-movie entertainment – balloons, twists and dance parties.

July 13: “Peter Pan and Wendy.” Pre-movie entertainment is yet to be determined.
July 20: “Wish” spotlighting Granite State Credit Union’s philanthropic efforts – Share Fund, Food Drive – bring an item to be entered into additional raffles. Pre-movie entertainment – Teddy Bear Picnic and Tea Party plus a visit from the cast of “Beauty and the Beast” at the Rochester Opera House.
July 27: “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”. Pre-movie entertainment – magic show/music and walk-around magic.
August 3: “Migration”. Pre-film entertainment – special presenter.
August 10: “Super Mario Bros. The Movie” GSCU Charity Spotlight – Monarch School Supply Drive – Bring items for additional entry into the raffle. Pre-Movie Entertainment – Magic Show/Music and Walk Around Magic.
August 17: “Chicken Run” Pre-Film Entertainment – TBA
August 24: “Crater.” Pre-movie entertainment – TBA
