Content creator @whorientall shared a collection of photo slides on TikTok titled, “Things that changed my brain chemistry since working at Applebee’s.” It included a photo of @whorientall holding an empty dilly bar wrapper with the caption: “My air conditioner broke so my manager bought me an ice cream :D” .
The slide, containing about 30 photos, featured both interesting and low-key moments from @whorientall’s work life at Applebee’s. Examples include receiving a “good tip,” working “two weeks straight,” getting blisters on your feet, and burn marks on your arms. Carry a hot plate.

Some viewers were shocked by the situation @whorientall dealt with as an Applebee’s employee.
