The McDonald’s app’s reward system is often talked about on TikTok. Many users have praised the app, noting that they get free food and other perks when ordering through the app. In fact, some people are so addicted to the app that they liken its use to social media accounts.
While some of these discussions are simply talking about apps, other internet users admit that they scored incredible points. Some confess that this is in stark contrast to the numbers on their bank accounts.
For example, one user made headlines after claiming to have over 40,000 points on the app. Another claimed that the point total he had was over 30,000, even though the bank account balance he claimed was less than $2.
Well, a similar story has gone viral, but this time thanks to TikTok user Sophie (@user29976824318).

In a video that has more than 2.3 million views as of Sunday, Sophie shows a screenshot of McDonald’s app, where she has scored over 14,000 points.
In the text superimposed over the video, she writes, “Me when I had no cash and no McDonald’s points.”
She later explained her situation in a comment, writing, “To be honest, I forgot to check my points and just keep ordering and seeing how many points I have.” Masu.
Many commenters said Sophie wasn’t the only one racking up McDonald’s points.
“My mom has $43,000,” said the user.
“My father is in the hundreds of thousands,” claimed another.
“I have 41,988 points,” a third person elaborated.
However, some users found it difficult to actually use the points.
“No, I was almost at 100,000 points because I didn’t know my points had expired,” the user recalled. “I called Coop and they didn’t answer.”
“No, it can only be used on one item per order,” was the second suggestion.
“You can’t even get over 3,000 if you don’t get something[laughs],” shared another TikToker.
