Minority Student Support Bureau

Maintaining physical, mental and emotional health while in college is extremely important. We covered mental health resources in detail in a previous blog, but here are some highlights and other ways to maintain overall wellness.
counseling center

and campus recreation, everyone has a way to be active. Swipe your iCard at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) or Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE) to gain access to indoor tracks, weightlifting equipment, an open gym, and a variety of indoor sports courts.
If you don’t like working out alone, sign up for group fitness or personal training. Other programs include intramural sports, a campus bike center, swimming and ice skating lessons, and a meal program.
Disability resources

From accessible building spaces to testing facilities and neural branching resources, DRES helps every student reach their full potential.
Exam accommodation

Beckwith Housing Support Service (BRSS) supports students who require assistance with activities of daily living due to a physical disability. DRES provides resources and support for all students with autism spectrum disorders at UIUC.their autism support program Over 100 students are now enrolled and receiving support.
