Rihanna is once again making headlines for her electrifying Super Bowl halftime show performance, but this time it may not be for the right reasons.
The Umbrella singer, who took the internet by storm after announcing her second pregnancy on the Super Bowl stage, has welcomed criticism for her “racy” show.
The Federal Communications Commission, the US body that regulates television, has reportedly received 103 complaints regarding the Super Bowl broadcast, almost all of which relate to the halftime show.
According to TMZ, many of the complaints saw people claiming Rihanna’s performance was “too loud with sex.”
Some even said the lyrics and choreography were “too sexual”. A Utah viewer said the show was “so vulgar that I had to turn off the TV because of the inappropriate content.”
But Rihanna, who is pregnant with her second child with partner A$AP Rocky, didn’t do the risqué dance on stage.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is currently gearing up for her upcoming performance of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever OST Lift Me Up at the 2023 Academy Awards.
