Bucs star internal linebacker Lavonte David is back in Tampa Bay for his 14th season in 2025. As in the past few seasons, the chances of Lavonte David coming back were entirely responsible for whether he wanted to continue playing football or go on a sunset and a retiree. The Bucks always wanted to get him back.
It is an important decision that every athlete must make in their careers. They will have to retire in the end, but what is the best way to tackle it? Labonte David has achieved many goals in his career. What’s more, it’s just cherry blossoms above it. If anything, it’s about continuing to do what he loves.

Lavonte David gives insight into the decision to continue playing
Lavonte David spoke with the media on Monday after signing his latest contract and gave us a detailed look into how to decide each season whether he continues playing.
“When I’m at home, I just try to relax and relax,” began Lavonte David. “I’m trying to figure out what I want to do next because I’m lined up afterwards.
I do that at a high level
There are several areas that play a factor in all of these. It’s one thing that David is coming back, but he’s still playing well. That’s a big question he asks himself every year.

“Can you still support the standards you made for yourself when you played the game?” David said. “This year, unfortunately, it took longer than usual because I was injured at the end of the playoff game. [see] How serious is it and you’ll go from there. Then, spend time with family, get people’s opinions, choose everyone’s brains and things like that… I’m still on my side who believes in my abilities and believes in my side – obviously my teammates, people I’ve built a relationship with [with] After playing this game you can get a little encouragement and motivation from them and things like that.
“In the end, I led to that decision [inside]”I still love the game. I still have the ability to play. I still trust myself. I still believe in myself.” Why not? Would you like to give me another shot?
Bucs wanted Lavonte David to come back
Clearly, Book wanted to bring him back from the start. Despite a down season from a general inner linebacker, David is still the best of the group, An important leader heading for next season. I don’t know how long David will go, but at least I know it’s red and only in a Pewter uniform.
“Clearly, staff, Jason [Licht] And all those people – they wanted to get me back. That was one of the main things. They wanted to get me back. It wasn’t about what they allowed me to do. All they did was give me a little time to make a decision, but they said, “When you’re ready, there’s a contract that’s ready here.” It made it easy for me. ”
