During the month of septemberOur research team has identified two new food and beverage facility construction projects with an estimated value of more than $100 million.
The largest project is owned by America’s Heartland Packing Company, which is investing $800 million to build a processing facility in Wright City, Missouri. Completion is scheduled for early 2025.

Texas:
The dairy company plans to invest $100 million in a 90,000-square-foot expansion and equipment upgrades to its processing, warehouse and laboratory facilities in Tyler, Texas. They recently received approval for this project. Completion is scheduled for early 2026.
Mississippi:
The beverage company is expanding and plans to invest $42 million in expansions, renovations and equipment upgrades at its manufacturing facility in Clinton, Mississippi. They recently received approval for this project.
North Carolina:
The specialty food processing company plans to invest $36 million in renovations and equipment upgrades at its processing facility in Selma, North Carolina. They recently received approval for this project.
Alabama:
The beverage company plans to invest $35 million in expansion and equipment upgrades at its manufacturing processing facility in Opelika, Alabama. They recently received approval for this project. Completion is scheduled for summer 2026.
Missouri:
Specialty snack food manufacturer. plans to renovate and upgrade its 300,000 square foot processing and warehouse facility in Mexico, Missouri. Completion is scheduled for early fall 2025.
Arizona:
The beverage company plans a 187,000-square-foot expansion and equipment upgrades to its processing and warehousing facility in Tempe, Arizona. They are currently seeking approval for this project.
Michigan:
The specialty feed manufacturer plans to invest $16 million to build a 13,000-square-foot processing facility in Leith, Michigan. They recently received approval for this project.
Washington:
The fresh produce company plans to invest $8 million in a 152,000-square-foot expansion of its cultivation and processing facility at 950 S. Elm Ave. in Pasco, Washington. They are currently seeking approval for this project.
Florida:
The food service distributor plans to renovate and upgrade its recently acquired 110,000 square foot warehouse facility at 2963 Stonewall Place. They are currently seeking approval for this project in Sanford, Florida.
Texas:
The specialty food manufacturer plans to invest $8 million to build a 60,000-square-foot processing and warehousing facility at 7414 Bayway Dr. in Baytown, Texas. Construction is expected to begin in late 2024, with completion scheduled for summer 2025.
