38 Special is scheduled to rock the stage on Wednesday, September 18th at First Financial Music Hall in El Dorado.
The concert, sponsored by Murphy USA, will coincide with the El Dorado Shootout, the prestigious women’s Epson Tour golf tournament, September 20-22 at Mystic Creek Golf Club.Doors to the event open at 6:30pm and the concert begins at 7:30pm
Tickets range in price from $44 to $149 and go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 16th at 10am. Seats are reserved.

With over 20 million sales, most people associate this band with songs like “Hold on Loosely,” “Rockin’ into the Night,” “Caught Up in You,” and “Fantasy Girl.” , it’s reminiscent of arena rock pop smashes like “If I”. “Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong,” “Chain Lightnin’,” “Second Chance” and more – these timeless hits remain radio staples and are instantly recognizable from the first opening chord. Guitarist and vocalist Don Burns says it’s all about maintaining that intensity in their live shows. “We didn’t want to be one of those bands that got a little soft or complacent over the years. We’re a team and it’s always been an unspoken rule that we don’t slack and we build.” It was like, “We go into the game every night to win.”
Completing the team are bassist Barry Dunaway, drummer Gary Moffat, and keyboardist/vocalist Bobby Capps. The most recent addition to the band is legendary virtuoso guitarist and vocalist Jerry Riggs.
Since 1976, the band has released over 15 albums. And since the beginning, they’ve toured relentlessly, bringing their signature brand of muscle and melody to fans around the world.
Burns added, “This music keeps our wheels moving forward. We are a band that has tried to stay true to what has driven us over the years.
