Elon Musk and President Donald Trump have a very public and dramatic way of breaking up. Naturally, the internet has turned the whole saga into meme money. What once looked like a billionaire bromance now leaves it to digital daggers and ambiguous submarines, and mememakers have not wasted a moment of recording radioactive fallout.

For almost a year, Musk and Trump appeared to be in ideological sync, boosting each other online and in line with key issues. But in the last few weeks, their digital friendship has begun to unravel. Feud, now Public and Escalationhas all the traits of celebrity division, but there are more memes. While Musk tweets about Trump on Platform X, Trump posts about him on his own platform, Truth Social.
Social media people have surprised the situation with a troublesome divorce and have custody over JD Vance. One virus meme showed that Musk and Trump, as divorced parents, JD Vance was trying to hold their coat sale and bring them together. Another compared the two to Drake and Kendrick Lamar Beef, but both men were cast as Drake.
After the news of the split went viral, Kanye West, a fan of both Musk and Trump, tweeted in a hilariously serious tone: “nooooooo ooooo🫂 We love you so much.”
The political bromance seems to be over, but people will continue to talk about it for a while to come and meme.
