“30 Rock” alum Katrina Bowden and her musician boyfriend Adam Taylor are married!
Last week, the couple married in front of 125 guests at Kalama Beach Club in Kailua, Hawaii.
Katrina said people Magazine, “We wanted our ceremony to be intimate and relaxed, with strong Hawaiian influences and a gorgeous location. We wanted to have a big, fun party for our friends and family. We decided to have the wedding in two locations.
After the ceremony, the wedding reception was held at the Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki.
“So we made sure to combine those two visions by starting with a relaxed outdoor atmosphere, acoustic Hawaiian music, and a barefoot vibe. We then moved everyone to the Kaimana Hotel Ballroom for an elevated dance party. I opened it.
For her big day, Borden chose a lace dress from Grace Loves Lace.
The two exchanged vows that they had written themselves.
She said, “This wedding is very much who we are. It’s relaxed but with the perfect details that reflect who we are…The dream come true part was finding each other and becoming… It’s about celebrating our love.”
Drake Peterson, a bandmate from Adams Iration whom I introduced a few years ago, officiated the wedding. She recalled: “Peterson said we should spend some time with him while we were there. He was home from visiting his mother and younger brother. He acted as a tour guide and we immediately We hit it off and we’ve been together ever since.”
The wedding took place a year after Taylor popped the question to Katrina.
She revealed: “We were on the Amalfi Coast and Adam rented a boat for the day. He moored it near a small empty beach and we swam ashore. He brought us dry bags ( I brought my ring (with a ring in it) and proposed on the beach, with Positano in the back and just us in our swimsuits. It was very romantic and special.”
Katrina happily promised a “lifelong partnership” with her new husband, adding: “Adam is my favorite person and I can’t wait to be stuck with him forever.” Life with Adam is very fun, fulfilling and easy-going. He brings so much love, humor and joy into my life. He is a very good friend and a very caring person who respects and loves me the way I always wanted to be loved. ”
According to Katrina’s Instagram, the two have been dating since at least 2021.
