Kings Island is currently open on weekends, but will soon open weekdays for the summer season.

Camp Snoopy is still under construction
The park’s new Camp Snoopy section has been under construction since the fall, with an exact opening date not yet set. park blogshould be announced soon.
Construction is proceeding largely on schedule, with the original plan to reopen in late spring 2024.

There will be new coasters, as well as some design and name changes to existing rides (more on that later).

Three popular rides have new names
As Kings Island continues to expand the Planet Snoopy section of the park with the new Camp Snoopy section, some of the existing rides and attractions will be rebranded to align with the new section. in a blog post.
“Race for Your Life Charlie Brown” debuted on Kings Island in 1972 and has gone by several different names over the years. The 2024 season will be renamed “Charlie Brown’s Rushing His Rivero Ride.”
“Flying Ace Aerial Chase” originally debuted at the park in 2001 as a Rugrats-themed attraction. When Camp Snoopy reopens, it will be known as the “Air Rail of Woodstock.”
The final name change will be “Woodstock Gliders.” As part of Camp Snoopy’s makeover, it will be renamed “Franklin’s Flyers.”
New foods will be introduced in the 2024 season
A new counter-service restaurant called Pigpen’s Mess Hole will open at Camp Snoopy, with a menu geared toward children and families.
Other dining options on Kings Island have also been renovated.

Kings Island is located in Mason, Ohio, about 210 miles from Indianapolis, about a two-hour drive (or longer depending on traffic).

Business hours as of May 9, 2024:
- Friday Saturday: From 10am to 9pm
- Sunday: From 10am to 7pm
Business hours starting May 20, 2024:
- Monday Thursday: From 10am to 6pm
- Friday to Sunday: From 10am to 10pm
While the rest of Kings Island will be open on weekends as of May 9th and the week beginning May 20th, Soak City Water Park will open on Saturday, May 25th.
Soak City Water Park hours of operation are effective May 25, 2024:
- Monday Sunday: From 11am to 7pm
