LIV Golf announces partial schedule for upcoming third season, expands international presence, sees multiple events going head-to-head with major PGA Tour events, and reveals some notable omissions Did.
The schedule revealed Wednesday includes 12 of LIV’s 14 scheduled events. Seven players are scheduled to take part in international matches, but that number could rise to eight once the full schedule is complete. The six currently scheduled U.S. events include new locations in Las Vegas, Nashville and Houston.
In 2023, LIV competed in six events overseas and eight events in the United States.
The schedule announced Wednesday does not include dates or locations for LIV’s 2024 individual and team championships. These events are expected to be moved up on the calendar to avoid pushing the schedule into October, as has been the case for the past two seasons.
LIV’s 2024 season begins in Mexico during the first week of February. The following week, LIV will play at Las Vegas Country Club from February 8th to 10th, followed by Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Other new U.S. tournaments are June 7-9 at the Houston Golf Club, which hosted the PGA Tour’s Houston Open from 2003 to 2019, and June 21-23 at The Grove in Nashville. will be held on. Rich Harvest Farms hosted LIV events in the Chicago suburbs in 2022 and 2023, but they are not on the 2024 schedule.
Several of the 2024 LIV events will be held directly across from notable PGA Tour events. The tournament will take place in Las Vegas against the Genesis Invitational. It will be held during the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from March 1st to 3rd. The event will be held in Hong Kong from March 8th to 10th, where they will compete against The Players Championship. The Houston event will be held across the street from the Memorial.
It remains to be seen whether these events will be held in conjunction with the PGA Tour, which operates under the same umbrella as LIV. A framework agreement to create a for-profit company that would combine the tour’s commercial golf interests with investment from the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which owns and operates LIV, has not yet been finalized.

LIV Golf isn’t going away.Neither question is about its future
LIV’s regular season will conclude August 16th-18th at The Greenbrier in West Virginia.
Wednesday’s schedule announcement did not include dates and venues for the individual and team championships, as well as U.S. venues for the April 5-7 event before the Masters.
The schedule also does not yet include Trump Doral, the site of the 2022 and 2023 team championships. It is thought that former President Donald Trump’s resort in Miami could instead be the venue for the event in early April.
If LIV chooses to return to Doral for the 2024 team championship, it will find itself in the turmoil of what should be a dramatic 2024 U.S. presidential election cycle. After hosting two of its first eight tournaments in 2022 at Trump-owned courses, LIV played exclusively at Doral in 2023.
A possible venue for the 2024 individual or team championships is South Korea, with LIV known to be interested in hosting the event.
International locations currently on the 2024 schedule include Mexico (February 2-4), Saudi Arabia (March 1-3), Hong Kong (March 8-10), and Australia (April 26). (May 3rd to 5th) and Singapore (May 3rd to 5th). , Spain (July 12-14), and the United Kingdom (July 26-28).
