2 Chainz is clearly not smarter than a freshman. At least when it comes to trivia questions from my 7-year-old son Halo.
About the latest episode of the new podcast me and hellothe Atlanta rapper and his son play a round of “Are You Smarter Than A 1st Grader,” but needless to say, 2 Chainz didn’t make it.
“At what temperature does water freeze?” Halo asked him.
“Water can freeze. Let me think about it,” Chainz began. “Minus 20 degrees… Water? You get on my nerves. Minus 30 degrees?”
“Oh, you’re so close!” Halo replied before telling Dad the correct answer of 32 degrees.
“I’m kind of smart, aren’t I?” 2 Chainz asked after failing. Halo gave a very specific answer.
“Yes, to count money,” he said. “Counting money.”
Earlier this year, 2 Chainz secured another piece of NBA history for Halo after Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant gifted him with an All-Star Game jersey.
Chainz was mixing business and pleasure during his stay in Salt Lake City, Utah while attending the NBA All-Star Game over the weekend.
The “No Lie” rapper paid tribute to the Memphis Grizzlies star on Instagram on Feb. 20 by delivering the game-worn jersey from his back after his son Halo asked for it.
“I told Ja that Halo asked to get his jersey after every star game. Chainz captioned a photo of him holding an autographed jersey.”
He added to his Instagram story after the game: That Halo boy asked me to buy this jersey for him.I don’t have a cap. Thank you very much, sir. ”
Halo has had many signed victories in the past, with New York Knicks guard RJ Barrett congratulating him with a signed jersey in early February, and Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic last week. I was sitting courtside with his Pop when I signed the jersey for him for the season.
