We all have little quirks and habits that we may not admit to publicly, but we all secretly know we do them. From hiding profanity to picking our noses, here are 12 little things we all do, even when we pretend we don’t.

1. Hide profanity

We’ve all been in situations where we’ve all been tempted to speak ill or use profanity, but many of us refrain from doing so out of courtesy and professionalism. Told. Instead, we replace curse words with softer words or keep them in our minds so as not to offend others.

2. Pick your nose

Let’s face it; everyone has picked their nose at least once. This is a natural human habit, but we don’t usually talk about it openly. Whether it’s to soothe an itch or clean out your sinuses, this is a small habit that everyone does, but often pretends they don’t.

3. Read messages from your notification bar and pretend you didn’t know

We’ve all received a message on our phone or other device, read it from the notification bar, but didn’t immediately respond to it. Some users say they pretended they didn’t see the message to buy time or simply because they weren’t in the mood to reply right away.

4. Comment/send text/read multiple times after posting

After sending a message or posting something online, you read it over and over again to check for mistakes or to see how others will react to it. You may. Commenters write that this is a common practice that many of us do, but we often keep to ourselves.

5. Create a conversation in your head before doing anything important

Before a big meeting, interview, or meaningful conversation, we may find ourselves rehearsing what we want to say in our heads. One said it was a way to prepare himself and boost his confidence, even though he didn’t publicly admit to doing so.

Similarly, we may develop imaginary arguments in our minds, where we come up with witty reversals and win the arguments. It’s a harmless way to de-stress or feel victorious, even if it’s all in our minds.

7. Intrusive thoughts make us secretly suspect psychopaths.

Sometimes we are so out of character with intrusive or offensive thoughts that we question our sanity and morality. However, it is important to know that intrusive thoughts are common and do not reflect our true personality.

Let’s admit it, we’ve all experienced the awkward moment of accidentally running out of gas in public. This is a natural body function, but many users write that we try to pretend it didn’t happen or blame something else to avoid embarrassment.

9. Judging Others

We all tend to criticize others from time to time, whether we like to admit it or not. It can be based on appearance, behavior, and other factors. One individual wrote that it is a human trait, but that we cannot openly admit or discuss it.

10. Procrastination

We’ve all procrastinated at some point by procrastinating work or pushing deadlines. This is a common practice that we sometimes openly admit as it can be seen as unproductive or lazy.

According to many, this is another natural bodily function that we all do, but we may not be able to talk about or admit to it openly. Even if it’s common, it’s a private thing we keep to ourselves.

12. Tell small lies

The last user commented that everyone has told a small lie at some point, whether it was an outright lie to protect someone’s feelings or a small lie to avoid getting into trouble. bottom. It could be about our location, our opinion, or a little exaggeration to make the story more interesting.

These are part of our humanity, something we can all relate to. So the next time you find yourself doing these things, remember that you are not alone. We all have our little quirks and it’s normal to indulge in such behavior from time to time. Embrace your imperfections as humans and enjoy the little things that make us all unique.
